At Mwitongo Lodge, eating is part of the experience. Our restaurant serves both Tanzanian and international cuisine — cooked fresh every day using the best local ingredients the Mara Region has to offer.
Breakfast is served every morning from 6:30am to 10:00am. You can choose a full cooked breakfast, a continental option, or order from our daily à la carte menu.
Through the day, our kitchen and bar remain available for lunch, dinner, and everything in between.
Our dining area sits within the lodge gardens with open views of the surrounding hills. Meals taste better with a view like this.

Our chef and kitchen team source ingredients locally wherever possible. The menu is built around seasonal availability — meaning what arrives on your plate is always at its freshest. From the Nile Perch of Lake Victoria to the tropical fruits of the Mara Region, this is food that tells a story.

Our restaurant and bar are open to visitors even if you are not staying at the lodge. Come for lunch, a sundowner, or dinner — you are welcome.
